Turtle Beach, Omara

Turtle Beach, Ormara

Pakistan offers approximately about 990 kilometers of coastline and with it, an innumerable array of spectacular beaches that attracts millions of tourists both from within and outside the country. Whenever you think of Gwadar, you think of golden sandy beaches that offer a unique blend of relaxation and social life.

Surrounded by shimmering sapphire water, the Turtle Beach of Ormara is a stretch of 10 kilometers of sandy beach along the Balochistan coast in Gwadar, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is a designated nesting ground for endangered turtles. Turtle Beach is famous for its nesting places for green turtles which are quite endangered species on planet earth. Every year in July green turtles come to Turtle Beach to lay eggs and after two months this silent beach is broken by the hatching eggs, newly born green turtles.

Turtle Beach is undoubtedly a beautiful beach that one must add to the travel list during their visit to Gwadar city.  The beach is very clean and gives a spectacular view during sunset. This beach is worth visiting for a stress-free day. Less commercialized and untouched by the tourists, the beach is a divine beauty.
